Want to be included in a world record attempt? The current record for the most people connected while floating on air mattresses (i.e. connected holding hands while on individual rafts) is 865 people. They are going for 1,000! Join this attempt on Saturday, August 6 at 6 p.m. on Lake Saint Louise at the Lake Saint Louis Community Association Clubhouse Beach, 100 Cognac Court in Lake Saint Louis. Registration will be 4:00 - 5:45 p.m. in the LSLCA Ballroom. Please bring your individual air mattress (they must have air in them to count. One person per mattress. These are the rules!) Life jackets are required under 12 and recommended for all. There will be an aerial photograph taken during the event.Form a team of 20 people and be eligible for prizes for most money raised and best costumes. Suggested donation of $10/person or $25/family (not required) will be accepted. 100% OF THE DONATIONS WILL GO TO JOPLIN, MO FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE in order to assist victims and first responders impacted by the tornado this spring.
