Prepare To Sing Into Spring With Concert Arts

The Concert Arts Association of St Louis, St. Charles, Warren and Lincoln Counties invites all singers in the area to attend the first 2012 rehearsal on Monday January 16 at Transfiguration Episcopal Church in Lake St Louis, Mo. The Choral Arts Singers, an accomplished SATB choir now under the direction of Travis Evans, has been serving and performing in the surrounding area for nearly 40 years, and has also performed large works at both the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. Singers who choose to participate will learn and improve their vocal skills without facing an audition. Rehearsal time is from 7:30 to 9:30 pm every Monday for 13 weeks starting January 16th. Three or four concerts are currently planned for the spring season.

The Choral Arts Youth Ensemble under Heather McCarty rehearses at the same location from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. every Monday. Children learn singing styles and develop confidence and stage presence. They will participate with the adults in the combined spring concerts.

The cost for participation is $75 per semester.
